# Amazon blocked Meta's AI agent. Should your website?

## What I say

Amazon blocked Meta's shopping agent, Muse. Delta, JPMorgan and Schwab are shutting agents out too. So should you?

For Amazon it makes sense, at least for now. It owns the customer, and an agent doesn't look at its ads. A B2B company is in the opposite position.

When a buyer asks an agent to find five suppliers, you want to be one of them. The risk is blocking it without meaning to. A lot of security settings treat every bot the same, so the agent working for your next buyer gets turned away like a scraper.

Keep the protection, and keep refusing the scrapers if you like. But find out this week what your site does when a buyer's agent arrives. Finding out is the first step.

The next question is what that agent reads once it gets in.

## The free check for Earn

The website score reads your site the way an AI agent does: can it get in, understand what you sell, get answers, and check your claims. You get a score out of 100 and your biggest gaps, free, in about half a minute.
